Star - Edward Carson Williams, 73, of 521 Owens Street, died Thursday, August 30, 2012, at his residence. A private family funeral service is planned. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Mr. Williams was born in Moore County to Aster Carson and Estella Grace Britt Williams. He was a retired hosiery mill machinist. He is survived by his daughters, Regina Williams Staples of Star, Sandy Williams Crabtree of Avon; son, Thomas Edward Williams of Statesville; grandson, Sam Williams. There will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the donor's choice. A private family funeral service is planned. A memorial service will be held at a later date. There will be no visitation.
