A. C. Loflin

Mr. A. C. Loflin, Jr., 74, of 245 Shady Oak Drive, Biscoe, died Saturday, September 29, 2012 at his residence. Funeral will be held 2:00 pm, Tuesday, October 2, Main Street Baptist Church, Biscoe, with Dr. Jeff York officiating. Mr. Loflin was born in Davidson County to Allison Cleon and Geneva Surratt Loflin. He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy; and, he was a heavy equipment operator for Myrick Construction Inc. Surviving are his: Wife, Nancy Carol Weaver Loflin, of the home Daughter, Linda Allison Loflin Nichols, Biscoe Brother, James (Jesse) Loflin, Star Sisters, Shelby Jean McDowell, Denton Dorothy Parnell, Denton Grandson, Nicholas Allen Woodard Mr. Loflin was predeceased by his son, Charles Allen Loflin; and, three sisters, Janie Lee McLaurin, Rose Lee Whitley, and Jo Ann Surratt. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Monday, October 1, at Phillips Funeral Home, 216 South Main Street, Star.
