Grace Hicks Britt

Grace Hicks Britt, 85, formerly of Tarry Church Road, Biscoe, passed away on November 24, 2012 at Autumn Care of Biscoe. Funeral service will be 2:00 pm, Tuesday, November 27, at Flint Hill Christian Church with the Rev. Don McCaskill officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Mrs. Britt was a dedicated mother, dedicated Christian, and a member of Flint Hill Christian Church where she taught Sunday school for many years. She was an avid N. C. State fan having graduated three sons. She was owner and operator of Britt's Music Center in Biscoe for over thirty years. Mrs. Britt was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard, and son, Gary. She is survived by sons, Rudy Britt of Biscoe, and Randy Britt and wife, Sally, of Star; brother, Claude Hicks of Candor; grandsons, Dale and Jarrod Britt; and granddaughter, Tami Williams. The family will receive friends from 6 - 8:00 pm, Monday, November 26, at Phillips Funeral Home, 216 South Main Street, Star.
