Herman Wrightsville Lee

Eagle Springs - Herman Wrightsville Lee, age 79, passed away on Thursday, January 18, 2018, at his home surrounded by his family and friends.

Mr. Lee was born on August 20, 1938 in Sampson County to Graddy and Dolly Parson Lee. He was retired from Perdue Processing Plant.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Henry, Thurman, James, and Morris Lee and in-laws, J.D and Ruby Hobbs.

He is survived by his wife, Glenda Hobbs Lee; two daughters, Felicia Michael and husband, Rodney, Patricia McNeill and husband, Donald; one son, Mitchell Lee and wife, Tara, all of Eagle Springs; grandchildren, Brandon McNeill (Katie), Katie Cameron (Carson), Stephanie Greene (Dustin), Taylor Morgan (Chris), Jacob McNeill, Joseph Lee, and Amanda Sheffield; great-grandchildren, Emory McNeill and Hazel Cameron.

The family will receive friends Sunday, January 21, 2018 from 2:00 - 2:45 PM at Pine Grove Baptist Church.

The funeral will begin at 3:00 PM at Pine Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Bill Reynolds and Joy Maynor officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
