Wednesday, May 22, 2019I would like the family to know, that Mrs. Greene was probably my favorite teacher of all time. She was the most kind hearted, gentle spirit. I was in her Home Economics class @ East Montgomery (somewhere between 1984-1988). I am one of many students that will forever be grateful for her being a part of my education. Sincerely, Amy Ward Castlebury

Thursday, January 31, 2019As I remember Faye, she almost always had a wide smile on her face that seemed tied to her heart. Faye was my classmate at East Montgomery HS where she was voted “Most School Spirit” which was very appropriate. Faye was a friend to everyone and although I only saw her at class reunions I felt we remained friends. My sincere condolences to the family, friends, and students. Faye will be missed as a valued and beloved member of the EMHS Class of 1969.

Tuesday, January 29, 2019Faye’s passing comes as a shock & great sadness. She took great pride in her work with students at both Asheboro High School & Randolph Community College. Faye was quick to share her talents & time to benefit others—-family, friends & students. One of the things we enjoyed most was Faye’s sharing of stories about her children & grandchildren. Oh how dearly she loved each one! Faye will be missed! May God comfort & bring you peace in this time.
