Henry Charles Davis

Seagrove - Henry Charles Davis, age 81, passed away Saturday, October 26, 2019, at Hospice of Randolph in Asheboro.

Mr. Davis was born in Randolph County on November 1, 1937, to Elisha Marshall and Florence Garner Davis. He was retired from Black and Decker in Asheboro, loved going fishing at the coast, and was a witty and gentle man.

His parents preceded him in death.

He is survived by his daughter, Rhonda Davis Coggins of Candor; son, Brent C. Davis of Seagrove; sister, Jean Davis Thompson of Seagrove; stepson, Todd Hanks of Seagrove; life partner, Beatrice Britt of Concord; companion and pet dog, Rosie; and also a large extended family including grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and several close friends.

No visitation will be held.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 2, at Dover Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Clyde Allen officiating.
