Barbara Sue "Susie" Hurley

Star - Barbara Sue “Susie” Hurley, age 56, passed away Friday, April 10, 2020, at her home. Ms. Hurley was born in Montgomery County on February 18, 1964 to Bracie Pink and Bonnie Orine Lynthacum Hurley. She was a sewer. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Bobby and Charles. She is survived by one son, Christopher B. Morton and Lindsi Staley, of Star; sisters, Carolyn Key and husband Glen, and Pansy Hurley, all of Biscoe; brother, Ricky Hurley and wife, Cynthia, of Troy. Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, the family is requesting that you visit our website to make your condolences or you can sign the register book at our funeral home prior to the memorial service from 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. A memorial service will begin at 4:00 p.m., Monday, April 13, at Phillips Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev.
