William "Bill" Thompson

Seagrove - William "Bill" Thompson, age 81, passed away Tuesday, May 12, 2020, at Alpine Heath & Rehabilitation in Asheboro. Mr. Thompson was born in Montgomery County on July 26, 1938 to Theodore and Eula Olivia Britt Thompson. He worked most of his life at Seagrove Lumber Company and retired from Klaussner. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lucille Evans Thompson. He is survived by one daughter, Brenda Hickman of Asheboro; two sons, Dwight Thompson and Wade Thompson, both of Seagrove; two sisters, Jean Wilkins of Randleman and Melody Martinez of Seagrove; and three grandchildren, Christopher Davis, Olivia Hickman, and Alayna Thompson.
