Arlene Williams Brewer

Eagle Springs - Arlene Williams Brewer, age 93, passed away at Sandy Ridge Assisted Living in Candor on Friday, June 26, 2020. Arlene was born on January 11, 1927 in Moore County to Lucas Kelly and Blanche Green Morgan Williams. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Alex E. Brewer; brothers, Madison, Sherman, Hubert, Roby, Worthy (Sugar Tom), Earl, and Wilbert Williams; and sisters, Louvene Brown and Irene Hussey. She is survived by her daughters, Clara Sue (Billy) McDuffie and Sharon Ann (Kenny) Dunlap; brothers, Gurney and Elwood Williams; sister, Peggy Oakley; grandchildren, Sean, John (Kelly), Michelle, Renee, and Shane (Ambra); great-grandchildren, Tyler (Christian), Anna, Keiran, Austin, Britton, and Adelyn; great-great-grandchild, Dawson. Her body will lie in state, Monday, June 29, from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. and Tuesday, June 30, from 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 30, at 2:00 p.m. at Big Oak Christian Church Cemetery, 3627 Bensalem Church Road, Biscoe, NC 27209 with the Reverend Quint Dunlap officiating.
