Michael Gray Simmons

Biscoe-Michael Gray Simmons, age 67, passed away on Tuesday, September 28, 2021, at First Health Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst.

Mr. Simmons was born in Montgomery County on June 27, 1954, to Reuben Gray and Nettie Jean Shepard Simmons.  He was a retired logger.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother Jeff Simmons and sisters, Julie Shepard, and Ginger Morgan.

He is survived by his daughter,  Crystal Simmons Trexler (Paul) of Salisbury; son, Mike Simmons (Pattie) of Salisbury; daughter Donna Simmons Bishop (Christopher) of Chapel Hill,  sisters, Mary Haywood (Ray) of Candor and Karen Sibbett (Duane) of Randleman. Grandchildren, Allie Trexler and Jessa Gray Simmons, nephew Nicholas B. Morgan and great nephew, Nicholas Bryan Morgan Jr.

A Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday October 2, 2021, at 1:00pm at the Faith Baptist Church located at 2216 Candor Troy road Candor NC 27229.
