Claris Hartis

Jettie Claris Hartis, age 86, passed away on Saturday, November 27, 2021, at Novant Presbyterian Hospital.

She was born in Montgomery County on August 28, 1935, to Paul Jones and Verlie Hall Mabe. She was a retired Hospital Administrative Assistant, and she loved her nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded by her husband, Bobby Ray Auman and husband Mack Hartis; and brothers, Reece Mabe, Floyd Mabe, and DJ Mabe.

She is survived by her sister Carlene Idol of Indian Trail.

She will lie in repose on Tuesday, November 30 ,2021 from 12:30-1:30 pm at Phillips Funeral Home.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, November 30, 2021, at Ether United Methodist Church with Sid Black officiating.
