Jane Elizabeth Skeen

Seagrove- Jane “Betsy” Skeen, age 67, passed away on Tuesday, November 30, 2021, at Moses Cone Hospital.

She was born in Randolph County on September 7, 1954, to Charles Liston and Mary Dennis Boling. She was retired from Georgia Pacific and served on the Lexington Police Department from 1977-1982.  She loved flowers and her grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, David Arlen Skeen.

She is survived by her daughters, Allison Edwards (David) of Seagrove and Erin Skeen (Ronnie Kidd) of Ramseur; son, Chris Skeen (Amber) of Asheboro and her companion Jerry Parham.  Four grandchildren, Colby, Jordan, Taylor, and Wyatt.

The family will receive friends prior to the service on Friday, December 3, from 9:30-10:30 am at Laurel Hill Baptist Church.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, December 3, 2021, at Laurel Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. Frankie Hall officiating. Interment to follow in the church cemetery.
